Iowa man accused of shooting at vacuum salesmen

A northwest Iowa man has been accused of shooting at three vacuum cleaner salesmen over the weekend.

Sioux County sheriff Capt. Jamison Van Voorst says 50-year-old Samuel Harrison, of Hawarden, shot several rounds of his shotgun at the Omaha-area salesman on Saturday afternoon. No one was hurt.

Voorst says it unclear why Harrison shot at the crew. Police also did not know what company employed the crew.

The Sioux City Journal reports Harrison faces several charges, including going armed with intent and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

Court records do not list an attorney for Harrison.
