Iowa man faces charges in road-rage shooting

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A West Des Moines man faces charges in what authorities call a road-rage shooting.

Police say Jay Rodney Lewis shot James Ludwick, of Ankeny early Sunday morning after a traffic incident. Ludwick was taken to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening. No other details of the incident were released.

Lewis faces two counts of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and one count of going armed with intent. He’s being held Sunday in the Polk County jail.
