Iowa man pleads guilty to beating estranged wife’s boyfriend
A Monona man who authorities say forced his way into his estranged wife’s home and beat her boyfriend has pleaded guilty.
The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports that 33-year-old Christopher Junk entered the pleas last week to two burglary counts and one of willful injury. His sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 9.
Court documents say Junk’s victim was hospitalized with head and rib injuries after being beaten Sept. 17.
