Iowan dies after motorcycle collides with deer

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — A 59-year-old La Porte City man has died after his motorcycle collided with a deer in eastern Iowa.

Waterloo police say Robert Carlson died at Covenant Medical Center.

The accident occurred around 5:20 a.m. Thursday at the interchange of U.S. Highways 20 and 218 near Crossroads Center in Waterloo.
