Irishfest La Crosse announces lineup of live performers at press conference
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — La Crosse’s Irishfest is just around the corner, and organizers are announcing a lineup of live performances.
They announced the news Friday at a press conference.
They also detailed some new events that are coming to the festival, including a tug of war competition on the grounds.
2022 marks the 17th year of Irishfest and the festival’s President Pat Stephens says he’s amazed by the large turnout each year.
“The popularity of it, you’re getting people who are coming from all over. Heavy from Minnesota, heavy from Iowa,” said Stephens.
The first day of this year’s festival is Thursday, August 11 and will feature a collaboration with Moon Tunes.
