Items of convicted Wisconsin embezzler being auctioned
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Federal authorities are holding more auctions in to help pay $34 million in restitution to Koss Corporation for an embezzlement case.
Sujata “Sue” Sachdeva was convicted of embezzling $34 million from the Milwaukee-based headphones company while working there as vice president of finance. She was sentenced last fall to 11 years in federal prison.
The U.S. Marshals Service says they seized a record-setting 25,000 items, including jewelry, shoes and high-end clothing.
The current online auctions are running through November at www.txauction.com.
Many of the items still have the tags.
