Sheriff's Office: Suspect stabbed resident before fleeing

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help finding a home invasion suspect.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday about a home invasion at Parkland Village Estates on Julianna Road in the Town of Brockway. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect stabbed the resident before running away.

The victim, whose name is not being released, was treated at a trauma center in Eau Claire for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 25 and 35, between 6’0″ and 6″4″ tall and weighing between 220 and 240 pounds. He has a light complexion and had shaggy brown hair and a full beard at the time of the incident. He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt with three vertical rectangles on the front that were red, yellow and green in color. The sweatshirt also had an embroidered brown bird on the front.
