Jackson County authorities looking for suspect in connection with armed robberies
BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WKBT) — Authorities arrest one man in connection with armed robberies in Black River Falls, another suspect is still at large.
According to news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Treyton A. Laufenberg was taken into custody Wednesday morning, December 4. Laufenberg is facing a felony charge of armed robbery with use of force.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Jessie Blankenship, 25, from Chicago. Contact law enforcement with any information at 715-284-9009.

Police believe two recent robberies in Black River Falls are connected.
The first happened November 27 at about 11:00 p.m. at the Holiday Gas Station on N Water Street.
Police responded to a report of an armed robbery.
An investigation found two men entered the store and attempted to steal money. Witnesses told police a handgun and knife were shown during the robbery.
Both men ran from the store.
The second incident was an attempted robbery on November 21 at the Corner Store on W Main Street.
Detectives with the Jackson Co. Sheriff’s Office requested felony arrest warrants for the Treyton A Laufenberg, 17, of Black River Falls and Jessie Blankenship, 25, from Chicago. Photos of the suspects are unvailable at this time.
