James Terrell Sr.
James Edward Terrell Sr. age 63 died unexpectedly on April 2nd, 2021 at his home. James was born on February 28th, 1958 in Chesapeake, Virginia to Paul and Doris Terrell.
He graduated from Indian River High School in Chesapeake. In 2016 he accepted a position as a revenue agent two at the Department of Revenue, where he worked for more than 4 years. James Terrell Sr. was a great family man, a loving father and grandfather. He married Sharon Terrell in 1978 and the couple had three children together. James Terrell Sr. was a social, active man who was deeply involved in Boy Scouts, Jaycees, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Team Rubicon, and taekwondo for the majority of his life. He enjoyed planning for retirement, grandchildren and fishing. His family and friends will always remember him as a friendly, funny, positive person.
James is survived by his wife Sharon of Boscobel; his daughters Christina Nichols of Kendall, Jennifer Terrell of Hurley; son James Terrell Jr of Platteville. and his grandchildren Melinda Terrell, Natalie Busker, Autumn Nichols, Isaac Nichols, Ember Nichols.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charles Terrell and Paul Terrell Jr.
A time of gathering celebrating James’ life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with a time of sharing at 1 p.m. followed by military honors at the Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home in Boscobel.
