Jammin’ For Vets kicks off in Vernon Co.

VIROQUA, WI — The Vernon County Fairgrounds is rockin’ this weekend as a way to support our veterans.

Jammin’ for Vets kicked off Thursday afternoon. It’s a concert event raising money to support organizations for local vets.

There’s also a carnival for kids and local food vendors.

Through Saturday night, bands playing music ranging from hard and classic rock to country will entertain the crowd. “Come out and support the veterans, all the funds that we raise this weekend will go back to help veterans and their families and help us with the programs we do for our communities and those veterans,” said the Commander of the Wisconsin VFW Renee Simpson.
