John Bosshard Memorial Library in Bangor celebrates 30 years by announcing new addition

Addition will bring a community room addition to the existing library

A new addition will help Bangor’s John Bosshard Memorial Library celebrate 30 years in the community.

Members of the La Crosse County Library came together Tuesday to celebrate the anniversary.

As a part of the celebration, the Bosshard Family announced the funding for a Community Room.

The addition will be on the west side of the existing building.

Keeping the Library strong will be a benefit for the community.

“You can’t beat one-on-one with a librarian that knows something about the books that are in the library and can steer the children to their level,” said First National Bank of Bangor president Bill Bosshard.

The project is expected to break ground sometime this summer.
