K-9 golf outing supports Onalaska Police Department
Money raised will help department's K-9 program.
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — A local golf course has gone to the dogs for a doggone good reason.
The Onalaska Police Department held its annual K-9 golf tournament Wednesday morning.
Along with the golfers hitting the links, the event included auction and raffle items and lunch.
Money raised will support the Department’s K-9 program.
“Between this outing and other donations that we receive throughout the year supports this program,” said Onalaska Police Chief Charles Ashbeck. “Because we don’t use any tax dollars to fund or replace a dog, these types of events are crucial for us.”
This is the 13th year of the tournament.
