Kathleen S. (Stoehr) Sawyer
Kathleen S. Sawyer age 89 of Hopkins and formerly of Seneca passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at St. Therese Care Center in New Hope, MN. She was born June 20, 1930 in Seneca, WI the daughter of Frank and Marie Stoehr. She married Robert Sawyer on May 8, 1954 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2015. Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Valerie Sawyer of Lakeland, FL and Kit (William Jones) Sawyer of Minneapolis, MN, her son David (Marsha) of Craigsville, WV, her sisters, Kathryn Klinger and Bernadette Banigan, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers, Andy, Donald and Arnold along with a sister Marie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Seneca, WI, Rev. Zacharie Beya officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of services. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien, WI is assisting the family.
