Keep Those Windows Open Again Tonight -Bill Graul
Chance Of Showers & T-Storms Thursday (Some Strong?)
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 57F / Wednesday’s Forecast High: 87F…
It’s going to be another great night for sleeping with the windows open, thanks to comfortable temps in the 40s and 50s… along with low humidity.
Sunshine for Wednesday morning, then just a few clouds scattered about later in the day. It will be warm, but humidity will remain low, with highs well into the 80s in most spots. A couple of disturbances and cool front will bring a chance for some needed rainfall Thursday, with the chance for scattered showers and t-storms. There could be some weakening storms in some areas Thursday morning (especially north/west)… then more storms could fire later in the day and into Thursday night.
Thursday will be an ALERT DAY, due to the chance for some strong to perhaps severe storms in the region. This will be a “conditional” threat, as the coverage and intensity of the storms that could develop later Thursday… will be highly dependent on how the storms evolve to our west Wednesday night and how long they last into Thursday morning. In the meantime, just pay extra close attention to the forecast Thursday… and stay tuned for updates. It would be nice if we just got some beneficial rainfall across much of the region.
Looking Ahead… Decreasing clouds Friday and still warm with highs well into the 80s. Partly cloudy and not as warm Saturday with highs closer to 80F. Another chance for showers and storms comes Father’s Day Sunday, with highs in the mid 80s.
Slight chance of showers lingering into part of Monday as well. Tuesday is looking dry at this point, with just isolated t-showers possible next Wednesday. Temps look cooler heading into next week as well, with highs in the upper 70s to around 80F and overnight lows mainly in the 50s.
Have a good night! -Bill Graul
