Kids, families feasted at Boys & Girls club Thanksgiving dinner
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – More than 300 families had Thanksgiving dinner together Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater La Crosse.
Families sat down for a traditional feast for free, followed by games and a raffle.
It’s an opportunity for the club to get together with some of the most important people in a child’s life.
“Kids come to our clubs almost every day after school and form some really special relationships so they get to bring their family to the club and meet some of those mentors and staff that they’re working with,” said CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater La Crosse Jake Erickson.
As families left, they were able to grab some Thanksgiving essentials for the meals they can cook at home.
