Kwik Trip won’t add store next to Bridgeview Plaza
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Kwik Trip will not be adding another gas station on La Crosse’s North Side.
Kwik Trip purchased a former gas station next to Bridgeview Plaza on Rose Street last year with plans to build a larger Kwik Trip on the site, which previously was a Citgo. However, it needed more land for the project.
“Kwik Trip was unsuccessful in acquiring the three-fourths acre of the adjacent land needed to build our typical Gen3 store,” Kwik Trip Real Estate Manager Dax Connely said.
“Kwik Trip decided razing the existing building that has met its life expectancy and putting it up for sale as a vacant lot ready to build was the best option at this time,” Connely said.
