La Crescent Neighborhood Day celebrates 12-year anniversary
LA CRESCENT, Minn. — Nearly 200 volunteers in La Crescent helped others do a little spring cleaning.
Saturday morning was the twelfth annual La Crescent Neighbors Day.
Together, community members walked the city’s streets assisting neighbors who need help raking their lawn or cleaning windows.
Organizers say the city responded instantly when the event was created in 2005.
They say Saturday’s perfect weather led to a successful day.
