La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosts honor student banquet

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The area’s top high school graduates are ending their high school career with an honor they’ll never forget.

The La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation held its 56th annual honor student banquet Wednesday at  UW-La Crosse.

The banquet honors the top 5 percent of graduates from 12 area high schools.

Organizers say the event is way to congratulate the students on their academic achievements before they head off to college.

76 students were honored at the event.
