La Crosse Ballet preparing for weekend performance of ‘Heidi’

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – After more than four months of rehearsal, La Crosse Ballet dancers are in their final preparations for a big weekend of shows.

La Crosse Ballet is performing Heidi at the Weber Center.

The story follows an orphan’s adventures from a small mountain town to a big city.

This is the group’s first performance back on stage since the pandemic began.

For Chloe Jane Bulman, who has been in the group since its inception, getting back on stage means a lot.

“We’ve performed at the Weber Center for so many years, it’s kind of a third home … those of us who have done it for so long have such a special place in out hearts for the tech people here and the stage itself,” said Bulman.

There are two shows on Saturday and one show on Sunday.

You can find information about the show and tickets here.
