La Crosse bar goes shot for shot in hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinic

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A La Crosse bar owner is going shot for shot. Snuffy’s teamed up with the La Crosse County Health Department to host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic Wednesday.
This is the first time the health department has had a clinic at the bar. Organizers said it was a success.
At least 30 people came to Snuffy’s to roll up their sleeves, including Snuffy’s owner Ambrea Marcou.
“A year ago, we couldn’t do anything to ensure our businesses and protect our loved ones. Standing here today, we can ensure our businesses and we can keep our loved ones safe and others safe,” Marcou said.
Snuffy’s invited newly vaccinated people into the bar for a free slice of pizza. The party didn’t stop there. They also received a card good for a free drink or food item at a handful of other La Crosse bars and restaurants.
