La Crosse Center hosts hundreds of business leaders, representatives to form connections

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Local businesses came together Thursday to show off their services and create connections.
The 20th annual La Crosse Chamber of Commerce Business Expo hosted more than 120 local companies at the La Crosse Center.
The free event offered the chance for business owners and representatives to meet and form relationships with other business leaders. Event organizers say those relationships are key to keeping our local economy growing.
“It’s also a great opportunity for them to share best practices, and ‘Hey, did you know about this other company?’ That’s really what will keep our businesses thriving is making sure that they are connected to each other,” said La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Vicki Markussen.
The Business Expo also offered breakfast and lunch, and speakers spotlighting local businesses.
