La Crosse city officials review plans for new apartment complex
The complex would be located at 7th and La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Area developers met Thursday to discuss whether a proposed apartment building on 7th and La Crosse Street is in alignment with city rules and regulations.
They also discussed project details.
Developers say the project will fulfill a growing desire and need for those who want to live in downtown La Crosse.
“If you take a look at some of the data, the population growth and job growth in downtown La Crosse has been massive, over 150% in the context in the last ten years, and from what we see in recent news and lots of things that are developing in downtown, we only see that that trend is gonna continue,” said Nick Roush.
The project would include 29 two-bedroom apartments along with office and community space.
