La Crosse Common Council UWL student rep submits resignation
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Elaine Anderson, the UW-La Crosse student representative on La Crosse’s Common Council for district 5, submitted her resignation to the city Friday.
In a letter to council members, Anderson says she will be graduating from UWL on Dec. 18th. She says she will be leaving the city to work for an Americorps program in Minneapolis beginning next semester.
Anderson was selected to serve on the La Crosse Common Council in July of 2015.
Her resignation is effective Jan. 1, 2017.
