La Crosse County: COVID-19 case rate reaches 2021 high
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The La Crosse County Health Department warned residents Thursday that the case rate of COVID-19 is higher this week than it has been so far this year.
The health department reported a case rate of 419 cases per 100,000 residents with a seven-day average of 71 new cases per day. Hospitalizations in the county have also increased, the department said in a news release.
The La Crosse County Disease Investigation Team is reaching out to those with positive tests and asking those who have tested positive to complete a JotForm on the Department’s COVID-19 website.
