La Crosse County Historical Society to host tour guide training
Training available for new, returning guides
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – If you live in the La Crosse area, you know there is a lot to love about the region.
A new “guide school” program from the La Crosse Historical Society will help community members share that knowledge.
The training for tour guides is launching for community members who want to help share the our area.
“The idea is to refresh for our docents and guides who haven’t had a whole lot to do for the last year, as well as to develop a whole new group,” said La Crosse County Historical Society executive director Peggy Derrick.
An application for the guide school will be available on the historical society’s website.
