La Crosse County holds dairy breakfast in Brice Prairie

BRICE PRARIE, Wis. (WKBT)- La Crosse County held its June dairy breakfast at Morning Star Dairy in Brice Prairie Saturday.

The breakfast featured Mindoro Lions Club Pancakes, Westby Cheese Curds, and even had Culvers Frozen Custard.

Event coordinators estimate somewhere around 4,000 people came to the breakfast.

Perfect weather and a good breakfast made the event a success.

Morning Star Dairy has hosted the breakfast in 1994 and 2008 and is happy to host it once again.

“It seems bigger than the other two, it seems like there are more people which is encouraging. It’s nice to see the folks come out and see how milk is made,” said Morning Star Dairy Owner, John Schaller.

The Dairy Breakfast has live music, a petting area, and an education area where people can see the dairy process and what the cows eat.
