La Crosse County Library reopens some services
Staff will wear masks at facilities
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse County Library is reopening for limited services.
The five branches are reopening with plexiglass barriers in place.
Staff will wear face coverings and visitors are requested to do so as well.
The change will allow community members to use computers in facilities once again.
The reopening isn’t as quick as library staff would hope, but the goal is to balance safety with being a community resource.
“We’ve been follow the Coulee Compass from La Crosse County Health Department. And we wanted to mimic those risk levels. And so we developed our opening phases to follow that,” said La Crosse County Library director Chris Mcardle Rojo.
The La Crosse County Library will continue to offer contactless pick-services.
Information about changes and virtual offerings is available on the La Crosse County Library’s website.
