La Crosse County Library to celebrate National Library Week
Events include a picture book reading and an event highlighting non-fiction books
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse County Library will highlight ‘National Library Week’ with a series of events for kids.
This year’s theme for the week is ‘Welcome to Your Library.’
Library staff hope the week will remind community members how libraries can be a resource in their daily lives.
“Even during this challenging year, we’ve continued to do what libraries always do; which is look for new and meaningful ways to connect with people,” said La Crosse County Library Dawn Lippman.
Everything starts Monday with a picture book reading event on Facebook.
Other events include discussion about books that highlight a range of characters and learn about what we can learn from non-fiction books.
