La Crosse County takes in 550 pounds of prescriptions drugs Saturday
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse County’s Alliance to HEAL gathered 550 pounds of prescription drugs Saturday during the National Drug Take Back Day collection at the Health & Human Services building.
Al Bliss of Alliance to HEAL reported that 358 cars dropped off unused prescription pills between 9 a.m. and noon, which he said was an amazing turnout.
This number does not include the other seven law enforcement agency collections from drop boxes.
