LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse Distilling Co. is brewing beer along with 175 other craft breweries to raise money for brain cancer research.

The #BrewStacheStrong beer collaboration brings together breweries to brew and sell a limited edition Head ‘Stache, a single malt and single hop India Pale Lager.

Patrons will be able to find the beer starting Saturday at the tasting room on draft and in 16 oz. cans. One dollar from every can sold during the month of May will be donated to the #BrewStacheStrong campaign.

“Being in a position to not only provide hope for families and patients diagnosed with brain cancer, but also serve as a catalyst for change by collaborating La Crosse Distilling Co. to raise significant funds and awareness for brain cancer research is something I’m truly passionate about,” said Colin Gerner, president and co-founder of Stache Strong.

Stache Strong has over 175 breweries committed to #BrewStacheStrong during national Brain Tumor Awareness Month throughout the month of May.

Co-founder of La Crosse Distilling Co. Chad Staehly said he was grateful for the opportunity to participate.

“It’s a win-win situation. We get a chance to work with our community to help raise some money and in return, they get to enjoy some great beer packaged in an amazing can designed by world renowned painter Scramble Campbell.”
