La Crosse Downtown Neighborhood Association seeking artists for Burns Park ‘art wall’

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A new opportunity is coming soon for community members to show off their artistic talent.

The La Crosse Downtown Neighborhood Association is seeking local artists to provide their art for a new ‘art wall’ in La Crosse’s Burns Park.

The art wall is part of the newly renovated park at 7th and Main Streets in the city’s downtown.

Park organizers say they want the art to be a reflection of the community.

“[The wall] is two-sided, so we’ll be looking for an artist to help bring together or put together a mural that represents the diversity in our community,” said Courtney Lokken, Downtown Neighborhood Association Chair.
