La Crosse enters diversion agreement following guilty plea in ‘Hatched Baby’ theft, damage
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A 22-year-old La Crosse man charged with the theft and damage of the Hatched Baby sculpture in La Crosse will have a diversion agreement.
Matthew Reich pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor Monday afternoon in La Crosse County Circuit Court.
La Crosse Police arrested Reich, 21-year-old Caden Boge and 22-year-old Victoria Rodewald after the sculpture went missing in September 2021.
The diversion agreement will last for one year.
