La Crosse Health Department hosting COVID booster clinics
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The La Crosse County Health Department will offer Pfizer COVID-19 third doses and booster doses at three clinics this month: Oct. 8, Oct. 11 and Oct. 16.
To receive a booster dose, you must have received both doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine by the week ending in April 16, 2021. The health department says those who are older age 65 or have certain underlying medical conditions should get the booster.
The health department will also offer COVID-19 vaccines of all types for those who are not yet vaccinated. Appointments are required and can be made online.
