La Crosse man charged with child sexual assault
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A La Crosse man was accused this week of assaulting two children aged 8 and 5 last year.
Dameon L. Hendricks, 29, was charged Tuesday in La Crosse County Circuit Court with two counts of first-degree child sexual assault with a child under age 13 and two counts of child enticement, all as a repeat offender.
According to the complaint, Hendricks molested two children during the school break of 2019. The children were interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in August of this year after telling their mother.
He was also charged with resisting or obstructing an officer in another case.
Hendricks remains in the La Crosse County Jail on a probation hold and a $5,000 cash bond set by Judge Todd Bjerke.
