La Crosse organizations team up for warm coat distribution
LA CROSSE (WKBT) – YWCA La Crosse partnered up with the Facebook group Everyone Needs a Helping Hand to lend a coat to families in need.
At the “Get Warm Coat Distribution”, area families could stop by the REACH Center for winter gear on Saturday.
Organizers say that anything helps, but they are most in need of coats in children’s sizes.
“We always need kid stuff and that’s what we should be working on,” said YWCA’s Community Advocate, Erin Raymus. “We’re just collecting all year round. There’s never just a certain season.”
The YWCA and Everyone Needs a Helping Hand are collecting all year round.
