SECOND UPDATE: Police say missing La Crosse man last seen near Front and Jay streets

Anyone with information is asked to call the police department's non-emergency line

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The La Crosse Police Department has learned that Hamud Faal, who was reported missing Monday, was last seen at 3:37 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, walking alone southbound on Front Street just north of Jay Street.

If you live or work in this area and are aware of video/camera systems, police ask that you check to see whether the UWL student may have been captured on your video system.

Police also are asking residents in the area to check their  garages, storage areas and properties for Faal. His family family, UWL Student Life and the La Crosse Police Department are partnering in the search.

Hamud Faal was reported missing Monday.

He was last seen wearing a light blue crew neck sweater, gray jeans and black and white vans shoes.

Hamud’s family and friends have tried contacting him several times with no success. police said.
