La Crosse Police had nearly 63,000 calls in 2019

Nearly 6,000 calls were for trouble with party or juvenile

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – La Crosse Police had 62,879 calls for service in 2019.

5,998 of those were “a trouble with party or juvenile” call.

The total also includes 5,100 welfare check calls and 5,004 suspicious activity calls.

There were 29 calls for possible shots fired, 86 calls for assault and 3 bomb threat calls.

And 1,343 theft calls were came into the department came into the department in 2019.

The department also made more than 9,000 traffic stops.
