La Crosse police search for suspect in Kwik Trip armed robbery
Lone suspect left store with an undisclosed amount of money
LA CROSSE, WI — La Crosse police say they’re looking for a suspect in an early morning armed robbery.
It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Kwik Trip on West George Street.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9″ to 6′ tall who has a thin build and blue eyes. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a black mask, light-colored blue jeans and white gloves.
Kwik Trip store employees told police the lone suspect walked into the store, showed a revolver and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and two cartons of cigarettes and then left the store in an unknown direction.
Police say nobody was hurt.
