La Crosse Polytechnic students hosting film screening focusing on human trafficking

Film will be shown at The Rivoli Wednesday night

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – La Crosse students are hosting a special screening of a film at The Rivoli Theatre.

The film being shown is called SOLD.

It’s based on real stories of people being trafficked.

Before the film starts, there will be a presentation by Restorative Ink, a Coulee Region-based non-profit that helps provide people with free tattoo and branding removal for victims of human trafficking.

The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. The film starts at 7:30 p.m.

The event is free but donations will be accepted for Restorative Ink.
