La Crosse Special Needs Prom needs models
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — If your child has special needs, a prom coming up is sure to give him or her a good time.
The Beautiful Butterfly Project, Special Needs Dream Team and JCI La Crosse Jaycees are partnering to put on a Special Needs Prom June 12 at La Crosse’s American Legion Hall.
Organizers are looking for models. So far, they have 17, but would like to have a total of 30.
You can be a male or female to model. Age does not matter.
The Beautiful Butterfly Project gives away dresses for free.
The dream team just received 25 suits for men from a donor; any man who attends the dance can keep his for free.
“Shoes and ties, and you know, everything,” Beautiful Butterfly Project Prom creator Judy Wolff said. “We basically don’t want them to go out and buy anything just to go to this event. We want to give it all to them for nothing.”
