La Crosse Storytelling Festival returning to Pump House

It's the longest running Storytelling Festival in Wisconsin.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Starting Friday, the 18th annual La Crosse Storytelling Festival gets underway at the Pump House Regional Arts Center.

It’s the longest running Storytelling Festival in Wisconsin.

Organizers say the skill of sharing stories should be celebrated.

“Story telling is an art that has been around since the beginning of communication. And that it is for adult as well as children,” said La Crosse Storytelling Festival steering committee chair Terry Visger.

Doors open Friday at 6 p.m. and then again at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Admission is $8 for individuals or $15 for a household.
