La Crosse woman named Fulbright scholar at Luther College in Decorah
DECORAH, Iowa (WKBT) — A La Crosse woman is one of two named as 2022-23 Fulbright scholars at Luther College in Decorah.
Senior Annika Dome will travel to Germany for the 2022-23 academic year as an English teaching assistant. She began learning German in the seventh grade and kept with it through college, including spending a semester in Germany that the COVID pandemic cut short. Dome says she is looking forward to this opportunity to go back and reacquaint herself.
Dome was named alongside Luther alumnus Soren Gloege from Apple Valley, Minn.
More than 390,000 have participated in the Fulbright Program since it was established in 1946.
