La Crosse yard waste site opens
Must be resident of City of La Crosse to dispose of brush at Isle la Plume
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse residents may have to wait for the fresh snow to melt to gather all of their yard waste, but they now have a place to drop it off again.
The yard waste site at Isle la Plume opened for the season Monday morning. Residents can drop off leaves, grass clippings, and branches that are less than 8 inches thick at the site. Logs and tree trunks won’t be accepted at the site this year, and should be dropped off at the La Crosse County Landfill instead.
The yard waste site is open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on weekdays and until 4 p.m. on weekends.
