La Crosse’s alternate side parking ends after March 15
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse’s alternate side parking comes to an end Friday morning for this season.
The City requires cars be parked on the side of the street coinciding with the date, from 12:01 to 5:00 each morning.
In the past, the City had that rule from November 1 through April 1 of each year, but the Common Council voted in 2017 to shave 15 days off the beginning and end of that stretch. The Streets Department can still issue a “Snow Emergency” though, which would put those rules back in place for a day or two.
This may not be the final night for alternate side parking in other cities and towns though, such as Onalaska.
