La Crosse’s Cameron Park farmers market opens for the season
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – From fresh flowers to food and fun, La Crosse’s Cameron Park farmers market is back with something for the whole family.
The market, near 5th and Kings Streets, opened for the season on Friday, May 6th. Many of last year’s vendors are back along with a handful of new vendors. All of the vendors grow or produce their products within a 100-mile radius of La Crosse. Once the weather warms up, the market manager says the number of vendors will grow. “We are just hoping that as soon as June comes around we are going to get a lot more vendors who are farmers. We are a farmers market after all,” says Maddie Makinster.
The market is dog-friendly, and security is on-site on Friday to keep everyone safe.
The Cameron market will be open every Friday from 4 pm-dusk and Saturday from 8 am- to 1 pm, between now and the end of October.
