La Crosse’s Mayo Clinic Health System kicks off National Nurses Week
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse is kicking off National Nurses Week.
Leaders say they have events planned for nurses during the week to thank one of the largest parts of the hospital’s workforce.
“We love the appreciation, we want to show nurses that they are important to everybody, not just within health care, but within the community in general,” said Nurse Administrator Ben Anderson.
Each nurse will receive an appreciation gift this week, Anderson said.
