La Crosse’s Rotary Club hands out fruit box delivery
LA CROSSE (WKBT) – La Crosse Rotary’s fruit box delivery is underway.
Rotarians gathered in ugly sweaters to distribute boxes, each containing apples, pears, oranges, and peanuts.
This fundraiser helps to raise money for future club activities and service projects.
For club members, this fundraiser is the perfect opportunity for camaraderie and thinking outside the box.
“It is really really a fun event,” said Rotary Fruitbox Co-Chair Brian Langenhorst. “What’s nice for our Rotary committee and our group is able to do something outside the traditional membership meeting.”
While it is too late to buy a box this time around, there are plenty of future opportunities to get involved with the Rotary Club.
