Last minute shopping continues at Valley View Mall

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — With the holidays approaching many people are finishing up their shopping for the season. As a result, shopping centers like Valley View Mall may be busy over the next week.

The mall has stores selling everything from electronics to toys to jewelry.

Those at the mall say they have already seen increased traffic in recent days.

“Well this weekend it is definitely increased. We knew this was going to be one of the largest shopping weekends before the holiday, and we saw that. Yesterday was very full in the mall. Today, of course, the Packer game did affect us a little bit, but but we are starting to see that pick up now.” said Valley View Mall marketing director Laurie Cafe
