Late goal secures draw for Central Soccer
Central boys soccer got some late-game scoring magic to secure a 1-1 draw against Eau Claire North Thursday night.
The RiverHawks were down 1-0 in the 87th minute when senior captain Joseph Lee set up for a free kick. His strike cleared the wall of defenders and went off the North keeper’s hands, allowing Devin Wilkerson to race forward and deliver the goal to secure the draw.
Central is now 4-2-2 overall.
