LAX Food Hall opening delayed, owners acquire more space in building

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Owners of the LAX Food Hall say the timeline for opening their business is being pushed back, but that’s because they’re already expanding.

The owners of the new food hall just acquired space.

The new space will be ready for renovations in October.

The expansion allows the owners to use the entire first floor of the Exchange Building, increasing space for seating and adding another entrance.

Right now, the owners are looking for more vendors to fill spots in the hall.

“We have space for nine to 11 [vendors],” said Zach Switzer, one of the owners. “We’re open to a wide variety of different vendors, specifically I’m really looking to have a pizza place and a bubble tea place.”

So far, the food hall will have Plaid Pineapple, a vendor that will sell crepes and smoothies.

The owners of LAX Food Hall say they hope to open up by late fall or early winter.
